I Did It… I Retired My MacBook!

I bought a notebook, not anyone, the one I have been daydreaming about! While working, I could see my notebook in front of me, on my table…although it`s so hard to say Good Bye to the older one.

My first articles here on Medium were written and published from my phone. I can say that their app really works! But as it’s getting easier to transform my thoughts into words, I began writing from my notebook and noticed that I really need a new one. As much as I love this one, there are no more excuses for a change…

Yesterday, I called Apple support to get some advice in their recycle program…it was an enlightening talk… here’s why:

• My MacBook, the one I am writing from now is 12 years old. The Genius specialist couldn’t believe it when I told him…. A fully functional 12 years old MacBook! Almost as old as him….
• Don’t say that you use Google to translate the Japanese Apple Store website, it almost caused the Genius a heart attack! I explained to him… Lion was the last OS accepted here…
